One technological marvel rocks my world right now. It happens to be black(aren't most modern gadgets black?). I don't know why its turning into such an entertainment piece despite my vows months ago that i will not succumb to such temptations. Its a dv2516tx. Hp Pavilion Entertainment PC. I only realised that 2 seconds ago. No wonder its turning into an entertainment machine. IT WAS MEANT TO BE ONE! Gargh. Dad forked out quite a sum for it so i guess i really have to take care of it. Make it last my entire course.
We made a big boo boo. Chris and I. We did. We managed to change our flight so that we'll be leaving singapore on the same flight. Or we thought we did. I told Chris the flight number etc. But we got the date wrong. Everything about our flights is identical! Except the day! What a screw up.
I realise something really sad. I believe I really haven't grown up. I compare myself to the girls who've studied overseas for the last 1.5 years. They do take on a new perspective on life, and the world around them. Studying overseas really broadened their minds. I feel like a little kid. I bet subconciously they treat me as one. Many in ECC won't trust me to be a chaperon for their kid's stayover. I have to be 21 to be legally of age. I will only turn 21 this October. I thought about it and initially i thought its a matter of age. But then again, if they dont trust me now, what difference would 9 months make? They wanted an adult to be there. If I am not an adult now? Then when? Well lets see how it goes during next year's sleepover.
My financial woes are still status quo. Terrible feeding off friends when we go out. I must find my way out of this slum. 2 years of financial independence is really no joke. Its fine when i get my 780SGD NSF pay buttttt after ORD, tsk tsk. It all just went downhill.
